Thanksgiving Church-Wide Luncheon (11/17): Join us for lunch today directly following our worship service. The main dish will be catered by Willingham’s BBQ. We’re looking forward to feasting as we give thanks to the Lord.
Advent Devotionals (order now): To help prepare our hearts for Advent we recommend two books. Paul Tripp’s book, “Come, Let us Adore Him” consists of daily readings filled with grace. Ann Voskamp’s book, “Unwrapping the Greatest Gift” will walk readers through Old Testament prophecy that points to the coming of Jesus the Messiah. Both are great options for Advent Devotionals, but must be ordered now to arrive by Dec.1.
Danielle Commissioning (12/8): During our worship service on December 8th, we will honor Danielle for all her faithful labor in our children’s ministry, as well as pray over her as God calls her forward to global outreach. Join us for her official commissioning during the service with a reception to follow.
Lessons & Carols service (12/15): On Sunday December 15th, we will have a ‘lessons & carols’ service. For those unfamiliar, we will sing classic Christmas carols, read multiple Christmas passages, and have brief meditations throughout the service (ie, a brief reflection after each passage instead of one longer sermon). Additionally, our children will be singing. It’s a great Sunday to invite a friend or coworker.

Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord.
To write the same things to you
is no trouble to me and is safe for you.
2 Look out for the dogs, look out for the evildoers,
look out for those who mutilate the flesh.
3 For we are the circumcision,
who worship by the Spirit of God
and glory in Christ Jesus
and put no confidence in the flesh —

for confidence in the flesh also.
