Welcome, we’re glad you’re here. Our vision echoes the Lord’s prayer: may it be “in the South Bay, as it is in heaven.” We yearn to see people flourishing in Jesus. Join us in the worship of our Lord.

PREPARATION FOR WORSHIP

Honor the Lord with your wealth
and with the firstfruits of all your produce.
Proverbs 3:9

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
1 Timothy 6:10

Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me.
But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’
In your tithes and contributions.
Malachi 3:8

“No one can serve two masters,
for either he will hate the one and love the other,
or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.
You cannot serve God and money.
Matthew 6:24

He who loves money will not be satisfied with money,
   nor he who loves wealth with his income;
this also is vanity.
Ecclesiastes 5:10

I appeal to you therefore, brothers,
   by the mercies of God,
to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice,
   holy and acceptable to God,
   which is your spiritual worship.
Romans 12:1

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.
2 Corinthians 8:9

In all things I have shown you that by working hard
in this way we must help the weak
and remember the words of the Lord Jesus,
how he himself said,
‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
Acts 20:35

WELCOME & CALL TO WORSHIP

“Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters;
and he who has no money, come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
    without money and without price.

Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread,
and your labor for that which does not satisfy?
Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good,
and delight yourselves in rich food.
Isa.55:1-2

SONG

The Wonderful Cross

[Verse 1]
When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of Glory died
My richest gain I count but loss
And pour contempt on all my pride
See from his head, his hands, his feet
Sorrow and love flow mingled down
Did ever such love and sorrow meet
Or thorns compose so rich a crown

[Chorus]
O the wonderful cross, O the wonderful cross
Bids me come and die and find that I may truly live
O the wonderful cross, O the wonderful cross
All who gather here by grace draw near and bless
Your name

[Verse 2]
Were the whole realm of nature mine
That were an offering far too small
Love so amazing, so divine
Demands my soul, my life, my all

[Chorus]

SONG

Everything’s in Your Hands

[Chorus 1]
This is the heart of living, Give and it will be given
Everything’s in your hands, Everything’s in your hands Lord
This is law of loving, Give and I’ll want for nothing
Everything’s in your hands, Everything’s in your hands, Lord

[Verse]
I don’t wanna hold on too tight
Even to the good things in my life
What I put in your hands I can never lose
Cause everything Lord belongs to you

[Chorus 1]
This is the heart of living, Give and it will be given
Everything’s in your hands, Everything’s in your hands Lord
This is the law of loving, Give and I’ll want for nothing
Everything’s in your hands, Everything’s in your hands, Lord

[Verse]
I don’t wanna hold on too tight
Even to the good things in my life
What I put in your hands I can never lose
Cause everything Lord belongs to you

[Chorus 2]
This is the hеart of living, Give and it will be given
Evеrything’s in your hands, Everything’s in your hands Lord
Sing till my heart remembers, Love is a long surrender
Everything’s in your hands, Everything’s in your hands Lord

[Bridge]
I surrender all, surrender all
All to you

[Chorus 3]
This is the heart of living, Give and it will be given

Everything’s in your hands, Everything’s in your hands Lord
Trust, I put my whole self in it, love like there is no limit
Everything’s in your hands, Everything’s in your hands Lord

This is the heart of living, Give and it will be given
Everything’s in your hands, Everything’s in your hands Lord
Sing till my heart remembers, Love is a long surrender
Everything’s in your hands, Everything’s in your hands Lord
Everything’s in your hands, Everything’s in your hands Lord

SONG

Take My Life and Let it Be

Take my life, and let it be
Consecrated, Lord, to thee
Take my moments and my days
Let them flow in ceaseless praise
Let them flow in ceaseless praise

Take my silver and my gold
Not a mite would I withhold
Take my intellect and use
Every power as thou shalt choose
Every power as thou shalt choose

Take my will and make it thine
It shall be no longer mine
Take my heart, it is thine own
It shall be thy royal throne
It shall bе thy royal throne

Take my love; my Lord, I pour
At thy feet its trеasure-store
Take my self, and I will be
Ever, only, all for thee
Ever, only, all for thee

SERMON
“Offering”

Sing aloud to God our strength;
shout for joy to the God of Jacob!

2 Raise a song; sound the tambourine,
the sweet lyre with the harp.
Blow the trumpet at the new moon,
at the full moon, on our feast day.

For it is a statute for Israel,
a rule of the God of Jacob.
He made it a decree in Joseph
when he went out over the land of Egypt.
I hear a language I had not known:

“I relieved your shoulder of the burden;
your hands were freed from the basket.
7 In distress you called, and I delivered you;
    I answered you in the secret place of thunder;
I tested you at the waters of Meribah.

Hear, O my people, while I admonish you!
O Israel, if you would but listen to me!
There shall be no strange god among you;
you shall not bow down to a foreign god.

10 I am the Lord your God,
who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.
Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.

11 “But my people did not listen to my voice;
Israel would not submit to me.
12 So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts,
    to follow their own counsels.

13 Oh, that my people would listen to me,
that Israel would walk in my ways!
14 I would soon subdue their enemies
and turn my hand against their foes.

15 Those who hate the Lord would cringe toward him,
and their fate would last forever.
16 But he would feed you with the finest of the wheat,
and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”
Psalm 81 (ESV)

SONG

Your Words are Wonderful

[Verse 1]
Your words are wonderful, unfolding like the dawn
A wellspring and the rock we rest upon
We trust Your promises that keep our hope alive
They steady us throughout life’s weary climb

[Chorus]
Where else can we go? Where else can we go?
You have the words of life, the words of life

[Verse 2]
Come write Your holy truth upon our longing hearts
And strengthen us to shine against the dark
Lord, guard us from the lies the enеmy will speak
No guilt remains for those You havе redeemed

[Chorus]
Where else can we go? Where else can we go?
You have the words of life, the words of life
Make Your glory known, make Your glory known
Through all Your words of life, Your words of life

[Bridge]
Give us ears to hear and eyes to see
Help us in our doubt and unbelief

[Chorus]
Where else can we go? Where else can we go?
You have the words of life, the words of life
Oh, make Your glory known, make Your glory known
Through all Your words of life, Your words of life
Through all Your words of life, Your words of life
