PREPARATION FOR WORSHIP

Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:14–15

And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” Mark 2:17

Women’s Casual Beach Gathering – Saturday, August 26th at 8AM. Bring your morning coffee and a beach chair and meet under the Hermosa Beach pier (as close to the waves as possible!) for casual conversation and encouraging fellowship with other KCC ladies. Most Hermosa parking meters are free until 10am, so it should be easy to find a spot; you can grab coffee at Java Man or Starbucks on your way to the sand. You can reach out to one of the coordinators (Shinobu, Bethany, or Madalyn) for this event HERE.

Here Comes Fall – Groups & Serving – As we approach the Fall, we are seeking more group leaders, hosts, and teachers, who will gather others around sermon discussion questions, a book study, or another biblical topic. If you might be willing to serve in this way, contact Joe Brown or Jeff Kyle to talk about it. In addition, we are needing more volunteers to serve through Sunday set-up/clean-up, and in both our Children’s and Nursery Ministries. You can volunteer HERE.
